Offcut Films is an independent, female led production house operating between London and Madrid, founded by Chloe Langmuir and Paula Aguirre Sánchez.
Their creative partnership began in Barcelona when both were selected for the OTOXO documentary programme. During this time they met and co-directed their first project together, sparking a collaboration that would eventually lead to founding Offcut Films.
Our Team
Chloe leads the company’s London presence as a British Filmmaker based in North London. She is a passionate storyteller with over four years experience in documentary filmmaking and human centered narratives. Her expertise spans the entire creative process from concept development, research, shooting, editing and post-production.
Working as a documentary director, videographer and editor in London and Barcelona has given her a comprehensive understanding of all stages of production. Committed to telling authentic and impactful stories, Chloe combines strong technical expertise with exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling her to build meaningful relationships with the people and communities she documents.

Grounded in her architectural background, Paula brings a highly spatial, interdisciplinary edge to her visual storytelling. Recently graduated with an MA in Executive Production at Madrid's ECAM film school, Paula is actively producing fiction on top of her documentary roots, naturally gravitating towards a "hybrid" cinema where reality and scripted narrative intersect.
Her focus extends beyond the creative; splitting her professional life between Spain and the UK, she is intentionally building a dual-market perspective. By deeply understanding both landscapes, Paula is actively learning to bridge the Spanish and British film industries together.
